Poor Felix, the same thing happens to me on roller coasters. My chest tightens and I can’t breath leading to me becoming light headed and passing out. Hopefully he does not have to do this again.

But since he had previously been diagnosed with an intervertebral disk herniation, even though it is probably completely healed (his dancing pretty much proves this). I personally wouldn't want to risk reinjuring my back on a rollercoaster, and I LOVE rollercoasters! Most coasters have warning signs saying those with neck, back, or heart issues should not ride. That's why it surprised me that he went on it. And then to see that he blacked out (or at least greyed out) on it made me proud he was willing to do it, but worried he pushed himself past what he would have if it wasn't for the show. Hopefully that makes sense.

Yeah, even if you're "healed," youre never fully healed 100%. There's always a risk of reinjury. I loved roller coasters and water skiing before my spinal injury, and guess what I can't do anymore. But I'm sure their people cleared him before and after, since his body's health and ability to freely move is a vital part of his career

They may have gotten the ok from a doctor before filming so that Felix was allowed to go on the coaster. It would have been the best thing to do.
