Me,too..I was born in 1960, between seasons of the show. It may be concindental, but it does fit, in all of those Master Cylinder ones, that they start comfy at night, with Felix and Poinsy in the lab, opening with a classic Winston Sharples string piece from Little Audrey's finale (and actually very. last. cartoon. ever) DAWG GAWN (1958).

back in the middle seventies my dad some how got me some of the Felix episodes on 8 mm reels . I remember watching these episodes on the garage door with lights off, very cool for the time being an 8 year old kid. cool times.

This is clearly a Brit channell due to "series" in lieu of "season". However, given Rockbottom and Master Cylinder, season 1 would NOT at ALL be accurate! ALSO: ROCK: "Sounds like the name of a cat". Some familiar Winston Sharples cues..such as (Poindexter walking towartd the caste)"from open of :Fit to be Toyesd", then from Casper,"Spook no Evil".. But it's otherwise unfamiliar stuff during the part when Poindexter empties his pockets before the "dream"..

I strongly feel that the cartoon show series of (FELIX The Cat) deserves the right to be rebooted for this generation of potential fans. I really enjoyed the late 80’s cartoon movie that was about his dramatic adventure on another planet, and to add I enjoyed watching the early 90’s show series of (Felix the cat’s) joyfully entertaining adventures.

The Master Cylinder, working for once with Rock Bottom (you can guess as how the Professor would be protrayed if were there, since in the M.C>ones, he is NOT the villian generally..) hires him to entrap Poindexterk, who has desaigned a poindexter mask, which comes in handy, as Rockbottom captures Felix. Then, it's off to a picnic with Poindexter and Felix, who then wind up in a "Conneticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court" (Mark Twain; Paramount studios with Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, and hotcha Jane Russell!), when theyget hit by appleas and hallucinate Professor and Rock as medieval creeps! They want Poimndexter for magic (a followup to the Professor kidnapping Felix, who winds up on the mad sceinitst's tyime machine and sees a medieval Poindexter). Then a very short "minosode" of THe Professor and Rockbottom when Felix stores his old nugget in Alaska in a hollowa tree, but it drops out, Rock sees it, wherepuon the sneaky canid puts in in another hollowaw tree! Thenm Prfessor, likewise, till Felix sees,m and corrects them, and plans to split thew gold untilk... Finally our old friend Vavoom and Felix in a "Hans Brinker with his finger inthe dutch dyke" when a major dam leaks, Felix sticks his finger a la the old Dutch storybook, and sends Vavoom to help.;.BUT...the dam leaks. PS The Conneticut Tanke omne is the best, with some unusal chamring instrumental music (descreibed above), and a hilarious in-joke nod by Rock to "the wizard'(the Professor) "Felix? THat sounds like the name of a CAT!" Seemed a half dozen plots were used for a whole medieval story, whcih Professor and Rocxk (except the previous, the "excercisae bike" that acted as a "deLeroean" (pre-Back to the Future) device), which had just Professor, and Poindexter, and then there was the very first of these, FELIX and MEDIEFVL ages, which had Felix and the two Villians, and the Professoer's first time travel gimmic,k, a make up photo booth.

If I can just say, this intro is from the early 90s when the series was re-screened on TV. They probably felt that the original song was too old fashioned for audiences then. Personally, I prefer this intro to the original. Mostly because I remember it better.
