It's so weird how there's a ton of creative ideas but they're all so watered down with extremely poor writing and voicework. Seems there was not very much faith in Felix as a character.

You hit the nail right on the head why I don’t like this Felix cartoon very much. I’ll respect Joe Oriolo trying to keep Felix the Cat alive, but this show could’ve been so much more if they just tried harder to appeal to everyone instead of just children. I for one will never understand why they thought making the characters talk so SLOWLY was a good idea. Whatever they were trying to combat just doesn’t work and it makes the dialogue feel more insulting to the audience.
