Coach Mathis, I truly understand when you talk about people who are competitive. I mostly played golf with my husband and his guy friends, guys like to make jokes and talk a lot of smack. So I started playing from the guys tee box, so that had nothing to say. When I tried playing golf with other women, they did not like all the joking and smack talking, they would quite playing with me no matter what hole we were on. I love the joking and smack talk that makes playing sports a lot of fun

Takes me back to the springs with my boys at the L. This was the time of the year where our foundation was built. Spending 10+ hours at the field house together all the time, working out, doing homework, eating, playing video games to me this is where championships are won, in the offseason. My freshman year we went 9-2 and won a bowl game after going 4-6 the year before and it was largely due to the work and bond we built in the off season.
