Felling and Bucking a Dead Oak

An old tree, looks like an oak, tipped over so we will clear the site then finish felling it and bucking.

I'm sorry You're having problems with your chainsaw man... You give me too much honor - i'm by no means chainsaw repair specialist... Thanx for the mention again ! Appreciate it ! By the looks of it, she will have to go to the repair shop again-if she "floods" the spark-plug, she's probably having problems with the carburetor or the fuel-line...if she's an autotune saw, only a repair-shop can solve it-inspect everything by yourself-maybe You see something...Try replacing the spark-plug if it's worn-out before going to the repair shop. I can only give You a tip : when flooded, take the spark plug off, wipe it clean, adjust the electrode if need it, and crank the pull-cord without the spark plug in the cylinder 10-15 times, and screw it back in-You don't have to wait for the fuel to vent...

Thanks man - you basically confirmed my suspicions, will try a new spark plug and need to check the carb. I paid around 350 for it new about 10 years ago, sinking more money in to this seems like a loosing proposition after already dropping ~125. Repair shops charge too much here since they have a business to run but, 125 in already so we’re up to ~475 on a saw not worth this amount. Will run to failure and get a new saw when that time comes! I’m thinking of trying an Echo cs 355 (14” bar) or Echo cs 277 just because it seems so lite for small stuff like what I use with this Husqvarna. Let me know what you think!

@@topcat7365 Do You have a "chainsaw-enthusiast" friend who could take a look at it ? Maybe it's not that big of a problem ? Did the repair shop check the cylinder,piston, bearings, or just replaced the fuel - line ? Regarding the advice on a new chainsaw-frankly, i've never used any "non-professional" model or any Echo model, so i cannot be of any assistance to You-search the internet for user reviews, try all those models if You can and then decide.Take the one that "feels" the best in your hands. But don't give up on your old one either...
