If you are a beginner or even an intermediate with some felting experience then this video is an absolute must. If you want to learn quickly, in this step by step tutorial how to turn natural wool fibres and lush silks into a strong material called felt, using Nuno felting techniques ,which you can then turn into a project such as a purse or crochet hook wrap holder ,then dive in.
I am a professional felt artist and wellbeing practitioner and I use felt making therapeutically to facilitate people in managing and controlling their anxiety. I have over 15 years of experience in teaching felting -felt making -and I will show you how to embed different fibres into the piece without sewing or gluing , just by simply adding soap and water and friction. No fancy equipment needed.
This is an ancient craft and it is a beautiful way to chillax and become mindful whilst slow crafting. You will be drawn into the magical world of colour and see alchemy in the making. If you love colour and textures then you will love these videos and these step by step tutorials are super easy and informative.
