Sir if a American person comes to India for otherwise than for ebu purpose, and stays in India for more that 182 days in the previous year. Would he be considered as PRII for the current year? As he was PROI in the previous year. Answer from Kunal sir as well as other is invited.

foreign citizens who comes to India for purpose other than ebu and stays more than 182 days in india. he is PROI irrespective of no of days such person stays in India. You can refer icai pg no 3.15 for example of same case about "Miss Alia airhostess"
