This trick was an easy one, did this during my childhood... writing the stuff on the (next) paper AFTER each candidate said what they were thinking. This is why she never opened the first paper which she threw on the right side close to the chair but she started opening the middle one for David as the first one which is in fact the second one she wrote and so on. The spade thing was just to distract to get the last paper in for which no real time was left, thats why is was the wrong number

She asks David. First paper she didn't write anything. She discards paper on the floor. She has David reveal. She asks Alicia. Second paper : she writes «Simon» (David's answer). She discards paper on the floor. She has Alicia reveal. She asks Simon. Writes «Food» on third paper. Discards. Simon reveals. Next is off screen but she writes «770» on a fourth paper while she supposedly makes the prediction for the 4 of spade. So there were 4 papers on the floor. She unfolded only 2nd, 3rd and 4th from the right. Just watch carefully : Simon's paper is folded like a star (at 2:47) but it reads «food» (at 3:27). The first paper - at the foot of the stool - is never used or unfolded.

Very simple- let me do a variation. ask someone for the first number, scribble 0- ask what their number was lets say 7, throw it out without showing them. Ask someone for a 2nd number, write the previous number (7). Ask them what it was, lets say 10, throw it out without showing them. The 3rd number, again scribble the previous number (10), ask the number, lets say 20, scrunch it up and throw it out. Now finally manipulate someone to pick a preplanned number, 0 but write 20 (in the above she used a card trick). Throw it out. Now pick up all the pieces but in different order, you should have 7, 10, 20 and the 0
