Loved this series!!! Muscle bound super strong Evilynn was the sexiest woman in animation in quite some time imo. I would have loved more flexing and feats of strength in the show but it had other things going on in it as well.

I thought this series was poorly thought out but I loved muscle-Lynn. Would have loved the Dreamworks She-ra if she transformed like this.

@@EccentricGentelman I really enjoyed the stories and that even the side characters had an impactful meaning to the show. I can respect that someone has a different opinion based off of the creation/story of the show without bringing up social/political reasonings why they dislike it. We are all different and like different things. ^_^ I totally agree that She-Ra would have been pretty bad ass if she would have transformed like Lynn did.

@@00tree For the record I've never seen the original show so I'm not fit to judge it on those merits. I don't think the direction they went in was a good fit for the source material. It's like when they made the original Hulk Movie, it's not that everyone rejects an introspective think-piece. It's that the Hulk is not a good place to do it. I don't think talk about existential nihilism or darker more serious stories are a good fit in a show that named it's characters things like Skelitor, Trapjaw and Scareglow. I thank you for agreeing with me about She-ra. Her muscle and height gain were so slight I couldn't really perceive them and it made me wonder why they did it at all. Why shouldn't She-ra turn super buff? Is she not the princess of power?

There were actual references to She Ra as muscle bound in a few of the shows by Skeletor even though she looked like a fashion model. Miss Demeanor from C.O.P.S. is one of the very few examples of muscular women in cartoons back then. As far as the show quality, He Man was little more than everyone being inept and unable to do anything against the 'bad guys' until he shows up and flexes and tosses big things around defeating the bad guys with noting more than strength. She Ra actually had a a good plot and good story to it. I was pleasantly surprised when I watched it back when it was on Netflix a years ago.
