Curved blade and dent at the top for safety is good option. Thank you for this artistic and packed with good energy lumberjack videos. Keep going. Have a nice day.

I have a couple Sugoi & Gomtaro saws, use the Sugoi for removals & the Gomtaro for prunings. I like to keep them well cleaned, for there can be much drag resistance when pitch accumulates on the sides. Keeping them clean helps prevent cross contamination of fungus & other pathogens between trees, especially when pruning. Helps to use both hands when possible to limit whacking yourself or your gear upon the thru cut. When usiing just one hand on the grip, have to slow way down on the last thru cut strokes. Every time I whacked myself, it was using one handed grip.

Congratulations on reaching this KZbin milestone . In my humble opinion you are absolutely correct there is nothing like a silky. I’m a hedge layer and always carry a straight tsurgui on my belt it’s perfect for getting into those tight spaces. Plus depending on the job I’d have my Sugoi on my leg, and yes it is does interfere with my knee sometimes . As for the blood, I think it’s like a Gurkha thing almost every time there’s blood. Please keep up the channel it’s great. Best regards Garry.

Nicely presented video. I’ve got an orange & black fold up pull cut pruning saw made by BAHCO which was made in Sweden. I bought it about 25 years ago and it has served me well but is now starting to loose its edge & sharpness on the cutting teeth. I’ve been looking at replacing it with a Silky because they look good & everyone seems to go for them. I’m definitely ready for a good new replacement pull saw (pruning saw). A new Silky would be a real treat, and of course very special too if it came from you. Nice to see your selection & thanks for demonstrating how to change the blade on the Silky saw too. I hadn’t realised that you could replace the blades on a Silky as well. That’s a nice bonus for them also. I’m a relatively new subscriber & I’ve enjoyed all of your videos so far. It’s very refreshing to see a beautiful female lumberjack who is so enthusiastic about what she is doing. It’s great to see you enjoying it all so much too. I love the way you are happy & smiling , and you clearly have a good sense of humour. You are very knowledgeable and thank you for passing on your knowledge to us all so nicely too. Jake x🙂x

Ever since i had a notice from my city to have my pine trees pruned to clear the overhead powerlines. Ive had an itch to climb trees, ive been watching many youtube arborists and learned how to make various friction hitches. But never tried too climb myself. So i got in a professional arborist to prune them. I watched how he didt it and asked him if i could have a go at it. He agreed gave me some climbing basics and safety advice. And so i went off into the great sky's 😄 ever since that moment i knew i wanted to be an arborist. So now i am going to go get my etw certificate ( 3 years of school ) but i am looking forward to it. 👍
