could you please explain how to derive the fracture energy?
@FemexIran Жыл бұрын
Hi. Fracture energy is equal to the area underneath the traction-separation curve. Its unit is equal to N/m or J/m^2. For this tutorial, I used the value mentioned in the reference paper.

how can i find SIF with crack growth?
@FemexIran2 жыл бұрын
Hi. If you are using the XFEM, You cannot have the crack growth and SIF calculation simultaneously. To calculate the SIF, the crack must be stationary and it cannot growth.

@@FemexIran Isn't possible to do it in a stepped way?
@FemexIran Жыл бұрын
@@ammaralhajri Hi. Unfortunately I have not used this idea before. I don't know whether it leads to accurate results or not.

Salam brother, How to find out plasticity property like to many yield stress and plastic strain for isotopic material to give input in Abaqus ?
@FemexIran5 жыл бұрын
hi. by searching in papers or other documents or conducting tensile test.
@md.marufulalam98235 жыл бұрын
Brother , is it necessary to input plasticity data?
@FemexIran5 жыл бұрын
@@md.marufulalam9823 hi. if the material is ductile, you must define the plastic behavior. if the material is brittle or close to brittle, there is no need for defining the plastic behavior.

FEMEX Brother ,in my case the isotopic material which I used is epoxy resin. Is it brittle or ductile?
@FemexIran5 жыл бұрын
@@md.marufulalam9823 epoxy resin has cohesive mechanical behavior. it is not ductile but it is not brittle too. it has elastic and damage domains.

can you give me a details about your paid course.like what will you give in paid course and how much you want for that.

at present, we do not have any paid course. we have another paid services. they are explained in the "about" section of our youtube channel.
