I've experimented with lazy girl method with acrylic tips and found if I apply the base coat gel to the acrylic nail and cure before adding polygel, they won't pop off like dual forms but if i skip that step they do.

I’ve been doing this method but we have not called a lazy girl method I love that you call it that I have a Vietnamese nail tech teacher who has been teaching me lots of things and she taught us this but I find that we do it a little bit different I love your creativity it’s beautiful but I just want to let you know that this is not a brand new technique like these techniques are already out many people just don’t know about them because people don’t have KZbin channels number one reason they don’t speak English very well but I love the way you do nails and your creativity is beautiful but I just have to say that this method was taught to me a year and a half ago and I find it really difficult sometimes depending on The poly gel that we use some are sticky summer thick and easy to work with depending on who and where they’re coming from but you’re very creative I love your art I love your work I’m new to this channel but not really new to all these techniques I am just coming out now with my channel I hope that some of you ladies will join me over there and see our creativity as we are preparing for a lovely channel of tons of beauty nail & love tips xoxo 💋

Just a quick question sorry must get annoying at times but I'm about to try for first time I'm just wondering after I've put the full cover nail on my nail with polygel then I've cured it what stops the nail coming off and just leaving the polygel underneath? I hope that makes sense? I mean if I'm using polygel to stick the fake nail on (if that's how I do it?) wouldn't the fake nail pop off like when you use dual nail forms to apply polygel? If you don't have a wax-tool to pick up little stones take a pencil & dip it in hot candle wax. It worked for me. I also used a dotting tool & dipped it in wax.
