This band is originally from Albuquerque NM , my band T.T Quick played all the same venues as Femme did back in the day they went on to get signed , Lorraine Lewis was a sweet heart and I was great friends with Rick Rael . Seeing this video brings back so many memories of my playing days in Albuquerque..

This was a hit both on MTV and the radio. This along with "Waiting For The Big One" were there 2 biggest hits on the radio and on MTV. There tour was also successful. They recorded demos for a second album but were dropped by MCA when label management changed. The band broke up after this. Lorraine didn't want to pursue a solo career and by 1990, which was when the MCA issue occurred, Glam was wiped out by Grunge.

@@arlenebowers326 Those demos were finally released by Lorraine 2 years ago as "One More For The Road". They aren't mastered but it still blows the first album out of the water. Grunge was here to stay but it's a shame those demos never saw proper mastering. The songs are very good.

Femme Fatale was an American hard rock band. Originally from Albuquerque, the band moved to Los Angeles and released one studio album before disbanding. Lead vocalist, Lorraine Lewis, restarted the band in 2013 with an all-female line-up which lasted until 2019 when she shuttered the band to join Vixen

I only tripped over "Femme Fatale" on what was known as MTV ... which it isn't any longer, on the "Headbanger's Ball". Loved them!!! I bought the cassette, yes, cassette and it was fantastic!!! A few years later, I learned from my sister who was at college in New Rochelle, NY, that at a local club she met Lorraine Lewis backstage and said that she was a very tiny lady, very sweet and kind to her fans. Wish I was there.

Now, that’s 80’s right there! Was in my Navy “C” school in the mid 80’s (65+ , weeks in gorgeous, sunny San Diego) and I would try to head to LA every weekend and hit the strip. I always dug metal/hard rock and the glam rock chicks that were everywhere. I am 6’5” and was about 220lbs. And surprisingly chicks would overlook my lame @ssed haircut. Greatest time in my life, to be a 21 year old in a Southern California. 😉🤘🤘🤘

pretty much , bout the only thing better now is technology , but given the choice , id MUCH rather go back and watch MTV when hairbands ruled it rather than watch youtube ...ANYday

Don’t wanna brag, but I am bassist in a 80s classic metal band. I mean the band is new, but we play classic metal. Feeling the pure power of metal with a female singer. That’s so great. Love from berlin germany

Never heard this band before. And now Lorraine Lewis is the lead singer of a band that I did like BITD, Vixen. Sounds like this band could and maybe should have become as well known. Catchy tunes.
