No head-scratching needed, Veterinary costs have skyrocketed to the ridiculous!!! Even the smallest of treatments will run you into the hundreds, and as for surgeries, you're looking at many thousands. Fairness pricing is absolutely needed. As it stands now, in this economy, families are forced into making heartbreaking choices, either having to put their loved and adored furry family member to sleep or having to surrender them just because they are unable to afford what is necessary. I am a retired Vet Tech, I understand the prices Vet practices are putting out, it's the mark-up, the gouging, that's completely unacceptable!

If he is already eating so soon after surgery that’s definitely a great sign. Good BOY!!!

I know for me I feel that the vets are not the same everywhere else. The care and attention you put into every animal is fantastic and I’m jealous of the fact that it’s not everywhere.

Very interesting information. I know for me, I have been rescuing Guinea pigs. But had to stop because the medical care got to expensive. I’m now down to one piggy. I love the way you have been running you practice! There needs to be more Vets like you! Thank you!

I am down to one senior dog and as a retired senior myself, I’m on a fixed income. I barely can afford the vet care she needs so I’ve promised myself that this will be my last dog. Years ago, I worked for several different vets about 10 years apart and there wasn’t all the specialists like vet technicians and technologists. I’m sure specialists would be paid more because of their knowledge but that cost comes from pet owners. And god forbid you should have to go to an emergency or after hours vet. Unfortunately I see many pets that never go for annual visits and vaccinations. Some barely get rabies shots at rabies clinics. I don’t know what the answer is but I know that for me it’s no more pets and I’m a lifelong dog, cat and horse owner.
