"Yes, but this amp goes to 12!!" That's right Earnest, the chicken head knob has gradations to 12! I owned one of these, bought at the Whoopie Bowl on the Dixie in Davisburg. I sold it on Ebay to Japan for lots of money, don't recall how much now, but just after Ebay went global, so some years ago. I had dragged the little bruiser all over the Midwest as a tuneup amp before shows. It was also excellent for playing with the folkies, you could play electric guitar without drowning out the fellas with their acoustics. Thanks to this gentleman wirejockey, it will have a new life. Leo probably wired it himself! Thanks for your fine work, sir!

Nice work. The "Lupe" sticker inside must be preserved at all cost.

What year is this amp. Wow that is a serious "Barn Find" and what a great amp to have. Leo really knew how to build them to last.

I tested a few of these Astron caps with my restored Pyramid CRA-2 and they were leaky.

So it is basically a new amp except for the speaker. That is why I sometimes fail to understand the hype around vintage amps and the premium folks are willing to pay for them.

I think you could wipe off the control panel? I’m not there, it it looks like several years of dust and grime on it.

@@d-labelectronics Neverdull (wadding in a tin) works well to get off the surface rust without damaging the finish. just make sure to clean it off after using. Cheap product too.

@@dlewtweentorla1210I googled that. Nevrdull, I suppose. Interesting product. I have never tried it, but maybe I should.
