Wow, that sounds sooo good! I’m thinking about getting the 64 Deluxe Reverb and stumbled upon your vid. Great guitar, pedal, amp and guitar playing!

Thanks! Yeah , for me it has been a really good amp. It sounds good with single coils and humbuckers and takes pedals really well. I tend to use the normal channel (left channel) as I have to play low volume and there is no bright cap on that channel. Having said that, the right channel does sound good with my Les Paul, or really, any darker guitar...

@@samnewton5959 Do you notice any hiss that’s louder than to be expected with such an amp? I heard some rumors about it and am a little reluctant because of that…

@@stevenvandemsky7290 I have read that many times on forums, but I have not noticed it all on mine, nor any of the ones I have played in our local music stores. I don't know if people are parroting something they have read or actually experienced the problem. Generally hiss is a tube problem or sometimes reverb cable problem. So if you are looking at one just play it and if it sounds good, great. I mean I have played hundreds of venues and wiring, radio stations, lighting, can be much more of a problem than if you had a minor hiss, which you would never hear playing live anyway...

Love the sounds and playing in your videos. Been watching a while now. Do you feel like the reverb is too little on 3 and too much on 4? I haven’t had that feeling about other fenders in the past

Thanks, okayTASTIC! I personally do not use the reverb in amps, preferring reverb pedals, (particularly ones with the Lexicon chip). I have never tried the reverb in my amp, but when I am in the music store and play a Deluxe Reverb or Princeton I uusally find 3 to be okay, but above that it gets a little splashy or kind of metallic. When I first started playing I had a Bandmaster and used a Fender stand alone reverb which sounded good, and later had an Echoplex which also sounded very good, but the tapes were kind of a pain. @@okaytastic6691 I don't remember for certain, but I think on this one, there is the Hardwire and a Boss DD-8. I have been using them in tandem lately and dialing them back a bit to compensate for using them both. Too bad Mason Marangella (Vertex) talked up the Hardwire, now they have gone way up in price.
