I've had this amp for a few years.. and my Fender Hellcat accoustic is beautiful through it . I have now been running it with a boss DS2 and a stone deaf PDF2 pedals and my Les Paul Jr.. not finding it "tinny" at all... The reverb is sweet also... Good review and a great budget amp

Hello, there was a vibration noise when I was doing a moderately loud guitar chord. A little vibration. I think it's the Fender metal logo, because when you press it the vibration disappears. Didn't it happen to you?

Is there a point in getting an amp for an acoustic guitar
@benhoffman82642 ай бұрын
Absolutely. Do you hear how awesome that sounds? Just playing the guitar naturally doesn't sound that good plus if you ever play for a group it's difficult to hear an acoustic without an amp

I’m considering getting this one tomorrow actually along with an Acoustasonic USA Tele. (I’m a lefty and that’s the only model they make lefty). Would this amp work well with it? Any help is really appreciated. It sounds good in your video!
@bestguitarsnow2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it will work pretty well if you're looking for a nice and clean sound. The Acoustasonic Tele is a great guitar! But this amp may not the best option if you want to play with a bit of overdrive - it's mostly designed for cleaner tones.

It works fine with an electric guitar - it won't break :)
@Bobs-Youtube-Journey11 ай бұрын
Guitar pedal can make it break I guess. An overdrive pedal would do the work. It excist overdrive pedal for acoustic now even. For example fender smolder acoustic overdrive. It kinda works on electric aswell.

Why would you use it on electric instead of an electric amp? Sounds pretty good.

Great video. Hadn't crossed my mind to run an electric through an acoustic amp before, guess that's slightly ironic as it seems nearly everyone has attempted running an acoustic through their electric grade amp as well as the fact that many guitarists search for exquisite clean tones in their amps. With that said, it does seem to be a fairly adequate amp especially for the price range. I've watched many reviews on it. However, the main issue I've heard in the tones coming through in almost every video is that the highs and mids are strong to the point of almost tinny and the lows don't really fill out. Fender's Acoustic Jr. 100 watt amps however do a better job with that I've found. They're still quite affordable. They have very usable effects (including a looper-works better if you buy an additional footswitch) which are available for both channels and the input jacks on either side take either mic or 1/4" so they are much more versatile all around. Of course, this is merely my opinion, but I think you should really check one out. Thank you for your review. You definitely did this amp justice. Respect. 🤘🎶🙏

Thanks Will, I really appreciate your comment! Yes, I've heard about the Fender's Acoustic Jr. amp, but I never had the chance to try it. It's on my radar though ;) And yeah, it's not a bad idea to run an electric through an acoustic amp, especially if you're looking for a nice clean tone!

Maybe you haven’t checked out Dawson’s review . They loop it and they adjust B/M/T . Not tinny at all . kzbin.info/www/bejne/gn28lmV9fceHb8k

@@bestguitarsnow Back with a couple new notes. 🙂 So @Soup said to check the link out to see the dude scooping the parameter knobs in the demo and expressing deeper tonal capabilities of the Acoustisonic 40 in order to show me that it wasn't 'tinny' at all. Not gonna hold this to the literal. That would be a 🍆 move. That said, while I respect how the music graces 'Soup's" auditory caverns which in turn appeals to them in their own individual inspiration, I still have to decline to agree here. The mid frequencies are harsh and the treble seems only barely adjustable at best. Just an opinion. We all have 'em.

@@bxsoup Hope that I didn't offend. I never want to come off discouraging or judging when talking about these reviews etc. I'm just extremely passionate about music as I'm sure most everyone else is here or they wouldn't be checking these vids out. Tone is 100% subjective and nobody will ever be right or wrong (at least as far as what they prefer for themselves). So naturally what sounds 'tinny' to me could easily sound pristine and angelic to you (and vice versa). That's the most beautiful part of creation in the arts....... The ability of one piece to take on so many interpretations, invoke so many feelings, and gift unique (subjective) experiences to each individual as they consume the info they are presented with. Sounds cliché and preachy and I'm sorry but it's also truth. Oh, and Soup, I appreciate your taking the time to point me in the direction of additional footage. I'm always grateful to get a bigger picture of things.
