Miguel Gutierrez de Cabiedes Hi Miguel, you will be fine using the inputs of either channel. The ‘Pre Out’ is best for use with an interface or digital recording.

overdrive, distortion and fuzz pedals should go into the input of the amp, modulations, delays and reverbs should go in the fx loop. It's fine if you plug them all straight into the input. NEVER plug your overdrives, distortions and fuzzes in the fx loop, they are going to sound very harsh. If you are using something that emulates the preamp of another amp plug it in the fx loop. The most common pedal order is wah then dirt pedals (overdrive, distortion and fuzz), then modulation (phasers, flanger, chorus, tremolo) then delay and finally reverb.

Beginner here; I just bought the Fender 100 and I'm watching this because I am curious if I can connect ANY pedal I want to this amp. I went with the 100 because I can't afford( nor am I ready ) all the different pedals. I later want to connect a compression pedal, tube screamer, etc... and want to make sure if it will work, though I'm sure it will, just looking for confirmation.

@ Mike J747: No problem, everyone was a beginner at some time, and learning never stops. Great amplifier choice, you won't regret it. From what I've seen you can run any pedal. One thing to note, certain ones you want to keep away from the amp as they can feedback or create hum. Also, put a piece of rug under your amp and pedals, this offers you some dampening and will help kill any errant room vibrations. Best of luck, have fun!

@@randymanx2674 Hey, just curious; Can you connect a tube head to this? I'm sure it would bypass all effects on the 100 but would it work and then connect pedals to it. Basically just using the speakers on the 100 with a tube head and getting that tube sound.

@@mikej7475 Hey Mike, sadly no. There is no input for a speaker jack which is probably the only drawback of this amp.
