A phenomenal amplifier for the price, and with the voice and effects options, gives you everything from warm clean blues to screeching distorted metal. And it packs a punch: especially if played with a hot pickup, the amp is almost punishingly loud, even at a 5 or 6. So not only is it a great practice amp, it's also a great small or medium gig amp.

@@ryancarona4199 awesome. Thank you. I appreciate your response. I started doing research to buy another amp for my son. He currently has the LT25. He likes it, but doesnt really have anything to compare it to as it is his only amp aside from a portable one that I got for him (the NUX mini). I was looking for something different than he has now so that he has options. Something that he can play in the house (I dont mind noise. I love watching and listening to him play) and also so that if he does ever decide to play in a bigger area, he can do so.

@@ZeroThree31 i had the LT 25 i gave it to my nephew. The champion 40 is definitely a step up. But it doesn’t have all those patches. Like the lt 25. It has the effects but you have to put them on manually and there is really nothing to save it’s literally turn on the reverb and then switch it to flanger when you want to…. Way Better sound though. The foot switch is separate but it goes from clean to whatever distortion you set it to.

The only thing I'd improve about this amp is to see the EQ better matched between channels. Channel 2, with the British sound I use, loses to much high end. Is this amp power enough to overpower drums? (without tweaking volume on max)

You'd have to max it out.

Hell ya it is. With my set ups, I set the amp to the yellow/orangish colored "British" setting, with low gain(gain 2-4), and set the other channel to reverb, or reverb/delay, with fx level set low also(fx 2-4), and it gets that sound easily.

@@PMTVUK Tried it for an hour before finally purchasing, and it sounds amazing, I like the effects, the distortion and especially the clean sounds, it can be very loud as well. It really sucks that it doesn't have a usb port for easier recording but it's worth its price tag overall.

What's the difference between red light or green light?
@GravityBoy72
@GravityBoy72 5 жыл бұрын
Orange, red, green. It's just a different amp select within a group of amps. I wrote all the amp types down on a piece of card and keep in in the back of the amp.
