Does anyone out there know the correct neck thickness for a early eighty Made in Japan Fender Stratocaster. I purchased a new maple neck for a MIJ Stratocaster body. The new Maple neck I bought sits way to high & hits the frets. That is with the saddles adjusted as high as.I can get them. Someone please help. I purchased the USA made loaded David Gilmour pickguard. any help would be greatly appreciated. Randy Barger

You might be able to sort that with a shim in the neck pocket. If you don't know about that stuff, Google "shim" or look through Dave's World of Fun Stuff.
