Very good. You do a thorough job, very professional.

I have been tightening all of the accessible housing screws as part of an amplifier service, especially the speaker mounting screws and baffle screws to compensate for the housing wood shrinking over time.

I just purchased a very clean SF Pro Reverb. It is the version with no mid or MV and your info here has helped me to date it to 1974. Thanks.

Never change that old blue molded sound caps in the middle please!

You’re absolutely right! These caps usually don’t go bad anyhow. And they are an important part of the blackface sound!

Uhhh, players used to call that amp the baby twin! One of my favorite black face amps! You should check out Lyle at Psionic Audio on KZbin. He,s a ,Memphis amp teck and an expert Fender and Vox tech.

I expected it to be much worse judging from the title.

@@wesleyc.4937 Well, with 450 volts on the plate, the worst thing to do is, trying to be fast. But where are you located? Planet Krypton?

If the reverb was truly on 9, it sounds way to weak.

You are absolutely right. The springs in the reverb tank where weak after all these years. Very sensitive and noisy. But I‘ m just an amp tech and my customer likes it as it is. He didn’t give me the permission to take care of it. Poor me!
