cool riffs. I may get these pick ups. They sound pretty classic for rock sounds and does blues nice too without much twang

@@Gaslight.Guitar couldn't agree more when I was buying mine it was a $400 difference for an American made one and I have since heard that the american and mexican facilities are right on the border so essentially made very close to one another

@@SecondhandWatermelon the closer they are built to each other the more build quality & tone transfers into each guitar, some of them hopped the wall before assembly & are here illegally without a visa those are the blues machines you want to look for just don't let immigration find out your housing an illegal

you put a spell on me. good job, I've been strongly considering Fender custom shop vintage 64 pickups. also you are in a good position to comment on how the tone of the guitar improves with the nitro finish versus the old polyurethane. I've just recently picked up two nitro finish guitars I'm astonished at how the picking dynamics the tone and the harmonics are improved. That guitar sounds spectacular even on KZbin. is that the lick you are playing "you put a spell on me"?
@DavidGarcia-pi9wn4 жыл бұрын
bro, the finish's difference is so minute its probably inaudible if there even is one, theyre just great pick ups, the nitro is a feel thing, he probably wants to relic it the real way, poly doesnt relic because its basically a plastic shield and its impervious to damage

Honestly, do the exhorbitant Fender PU's really sound so much better than say, I'd have in my stock 2016 made in America Tele? They are $250 in Australia. A King's ransom.

I think these are the pickups I may order this week. I am looking for a pickup that is a bit hotter than the Vintage Classics and can clean up nicely for Bluesy / Jazz stuff. Then move into classic rock tones with a some light to medium overdrive tones. Did you shield the cavity after installing these ? I notice some buzzing, but perhaps that was do to the pedal. Great playing btw !! Thanks
@Gaslight.Guitar4 жыл бұрын
They're really good pickups. No I didnt shield the cavity but I guess it would not be a mistake to do so. ;) You might hear some buzzing because my robomower sends out some disturbing signals which cause some buzzing...that sucks. most of the time I play humbuckers at home or I have to switch off the robomower because that noise sucks. ;)

@@Gaslight.Guitar I see. That makes sense. I'm planning to buy the Vintage Noiseless. But I'm interested on the tone of Vintage 64 pickups. Just got my Telecaster few weeks ago. I'm really new to it. I'm more of a Stratocaster player.

Bloody awesome sounding and great blues picking. I was considering a set vintage 64 telecaster pickups for my G&L tele....although I'm primarily a country picker there are not many any demos with country pickerspickups
@Gaslight.Guitar4 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much mr weedpatch. ;) unforrunately blues is a niche but country even more nowadays.. too bad! I guess with the 64s youll get one of the best and affordable low output pickups on the market. If you dont like em..sell em again. ;)
