A thought about the brakes - if something was wrong with the assembly of the master, or if you had a pedal stop set too deep the brakes would ratchet on like that. I suppose abs pump could be a culprit too. At any rate calipers are fine as it releases as soon as you bleed that trapped pressure. You'll have to show us when you do sort it out.

@@matt13rosson your 996 you went with pretty expensive wheels if I remember correctly. If you aren't looking for peak performance (running lightweight wheels as wide as possible) and have a big budget like the 996....I highly suggest checking out augment wheels turbo twists in 19"!!! They are arguably the best looking wheels I've ever seen on the 997 turbo. Same design as the OEM 996 turbo twists but they are 19" and wider with a concave style in the rear. Sooooo pretty. But they are not lightweight. If you are looking for performance and a great price I highly recommend forgestar wheels. Whatever you decide id recommend 9" wide on the front and 12" wide on the rear. Might be a good idea to lightly roll the fender lip before you complete the body work. Just a light roll to reduce the amount the lip sticks out
