I think the new gold buckles are glossy bright gold for 2021, vs the 2019 gold buckles. The older ones like your's and mine are almost a brushed or patina'd gold.

I bought the same bag, does yours also make a squeaky noise where the leather meets the gold hardware at the smaller handle? It feels like the leather in this area must be a bit stiff and that's why it makes that noise when I move the tophandle much.. wonder if I should exchange it

Hi! So I did buy this pre-loved and I don’t really have too much squeaking really but I can see what you mean. My guess is it’s because it’s brand new but may loosen up as you wear
