Any complaints of the 1050 being able to get power to the ground? A different channel describes the 2050 as lacking power in certain field work applications. Looks like a great tractor, though!
@Matt___B3 жыл бұрын
well, first of all, we all know that the 'different channel' is mike mitchell. but the thing is, a 1000 series is NEVER intended to be used in america this machine is been developed to fit within the europenian standards. so in fact im actually kinda surprised it does so well over there, its WAYYY to light for the job (just one note tho, i dont get why mike is complaining about power if hes slipping at around 20% or more, its nowhere near a power issue in that case). plus the bourgault mike uses is ADVERTISED as needing 600hp+, while a 1050 is only 500, so... we run one of the biggest contractors in belgium and have 3 1050's, probably a 4th one soon. they are the best option for us since government rules and stuff dont allow us to run a quadtrac (wether its case or jd) if we want 400hp+ its between xerion 500 or 1050. and for us choice is made really quickly then.

Hi Robert, we have sold lots of 1050's with very few complaints. The main thing is at the end of the day, it is a 517hp tractor, not a 600+hp tractor. So for example, in applications where a 600+hp tractor is needed, if you put a 1050 (517hp) tractor on it, there will be complaints simply because it has been placed in the wrong application. Does that help? If you have more questions or need

Thank you for the response. Are these tractors often used in heavy tillage applications, or are the intended for slurry spreaders, planters, etc. Thank you again.
@FullLineAgSalesLtd3 жыл бұрын
@@robertsherry9775 Yes, that is usually the main reason why customers around this area is to buy them to be used in heavy tillage/seeding applications! Thanks for the question, let me know if there is any more that I can answer for you.

Ye what Mike Mitchell is looking for is the 1100 series fendts and also some tractor company to make a Beefy tractor with like 1000hp or something.

So what's the difference in price between the 1050 and the 942?
@Matt___B3 жыл бұрын
942: €350k = $415k = £310k 1042: €370k = $440k = £330k 1050: €390k = $465k = £345k (as of fendts online configurator) will obviously also depend on where you live included the 1042 as well as thats the 942's main competitor of the 1000 series

If you contact a member of the sales team at one of our locations we would be happy to get some pricing differences for you!

I would take the older 900 series over any of these, my farm has owned closer to 100 Fendt, including the 1050, soon the 1100 series, and the newer 900 series. The older series are alot better then the new ones

You would think a pto would be standard on any tractor
@FullLineAgSalesLtd3 жыл бұрын
Hi Garry, PTO is not standard on the 1000 series similar to the way PTO is not standard on high horse power 4WD tractors of all brands. Some customers have no need for PTO in such a high horse power machine, therefore they have the option to save some money and not have one on the machine. I hope that helped explain it a little more! Thanks for the comment!
