@stro1962 Ok in Gotland-Sweden we also clean the ditches but only every 5-10 years whit a digger, but we do not have very much rain during the growing season.

Is it because of the low terain that it is so inportant to keep the ditches so clean in netherlands?

As a farmer you will get a fine if before a certain date your ditch is not clean. of this machine I had the first prototype. Mr. Mosterman and I worked out the idea. i was offered this machine for half the price or one hundred Dutch guilders for each machine produced. I made a big mistake. But it worked perfectly. This was 45 years ago.
