I'm just trying him and every move has like 5 cool things that work in tandem with other moves. Like qcf1+2 plus on block move, CH knockdown, works great with qcf1, you can use it to get in. And that's just one move

27:00 the johnny cage is useful when ws3 would wiff on certain big launch punishable lows with more pushback, you could still get most of em with a slight delay on the ws3 but it's iffy

We know why we're here🤩 Also BT d3+4 hits lower and slightly longer range than BT d4 and catch things BT d4 cannot so after ch db3 bt d3+4 is better.

Comparing Lee's d3 into HMS to Feng's db3 Pro: More damage (assuming Lee properly just-frame picks up); wall carry Con: Horrible tracking; poorer range; minus on hit and no forced crouch; more punishable on block (HMS requires canceling) Please fix Lee!

No that move is crazy regardless of these drawbacks. Leave Lee as he is lol. You can’t compare d3 to Feng db3, they have completely different functions

​@@josiah9039 Could you elaborate? I know next to nothing about Feng. But his db3 seems unbelievably good as a pressure tool from the description.

@@thoraero it is, it’s a crazy low only held back by the fact that it can be launch punishable. But it’s still one of the best lows in the game. As for Lee’s, the CH combo he gets is enough of a reward to deserve d3’s flaws. Also, even though it’s -1 on hit, hitman stance has HMS 3, which is a homing -4 armor move just in case they try to take their turn back. It’s a super strong low imo, I’ve put more hours on. Lee than I have Feng at this point and it fits him better. He’s a counter hit character, he gets a combo off of his low and Feng gets pressure. It’s appropriate

@@josiah9039 I'm Lee main but honestly I can't find much use out of it. In neutral game I would just go with d2 in this season. It's 2 frames slower but it's safe mid. Against those with orbital, d2 is even way more practical. It's something I can throw out casually at close range while d3 is only occasionally "committed" as mind game. That's why I would love to see some buff on d3.

@@josiah9039 And to add a little more on that, if you get "betrayed" time and time again by d3 tracking, you inevitably lose confidence in it. I barely used d3 at all in Season 3. To me it's barely considered a key move.
