Taimane made a wise decision to put these ukes in your hands to show how they can sound at their very best!

Feng, first let me say I'm so, so impressed by your command of the English language. In this video (which I really enjoyed) you show your awesome knowledge of the instruments you love so much and play/perform so well. Now I want to tell you again how much you blew me away with your cover of "Can't Always Get What You Want" by the Rollin' Stones, here's my thought, if you can find the time, would you consider listening to some even earlier music, circa 1950's-1960's (Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis etc,). I truly believe you have the talent, feeling and soul to perform some of this genre from the beginning of hard drivin' Rock-in-Roll. Well, as I said, just a thought. Thanks for this video and let me say it has been such a joy and pleasure watching you grow up into the masterful musician/performer you are today.❤❤❤👏👏👏

Taimane is the main reason I play (predominantly) a 5-string. I have three 5-strings, two 8-strings, an (alternative) 6-string, and several 4-strings with a low-G. Actually I only have two traditional re-entrant tuned ukes. Currently all my 5-strings are set up with an octave pair, but I plan to get a Taimane Moon 5-string with the double low-G.

Great presentation of the ingenious ukulele, Taimane and a mini concert: Everything perfect as always! ! Chapeau ! Let's see if and how I can test the 5-string Taimane - ukulele here in Germany, because I'm actually more a fan of high G and surely never will sound as Taimane or you. Or I tinker a bit with my beloved 8-string ukulele, there is enough space for 2 high AND 2 low G strings ;-) Enya's technique sounds good as always... ... but actually I'm still hoping for a ukulele with such a technique plus a looper, like the NexG guitar, Hy Vibe System oder Lava Me3... Do you know something like that: i.e. a built-in looper in a Ukulele? Or DIY ideas?

I was browsing Enya's website recently and saw these ukuleles. I was wondering why you didn't do a review and here they are!! The 5-string one sounds incredible!! Also, in your Stairway to Heaven arrangement, you tuned low G to E ,like this one, right? I've been trying to figure it out for a few days haha
@FengE Жыл бұрын
Yes, I don’t like low G tuning. Most of my arrangements are low E or Low F tuning.

Amazing playing! Now we just need you to pronounce the name of the instrument correctly since you have such a large audience. Theres no "Y" sound, its more like Oookoolele. I'm sure you can find a video of a Hawaiian saying it correctly. Keep rocking dude!
