Very good informative video man. Why do you have only 4 videos on your channel? Post more content. I am looking for a budget LED light. Don't need 1500 or so lumens. 600 would also do. Any recommendations? Amazon shows mostly Chinese torches with outrageous lumens like 10K/20K (obviously fake).

Turbo is always meant to be used for very short duration. Any brand turbo is same. Circuit will automatically downgrade the light to medium/high upon overheat. It's completely normal.

Fenix TK16V2.0, 3100 lumens. tailcap activation as well as a mode button on the tail as well. PD36TAC is 3k lumens as well. About the same size. Both are superb lights but they don't have USB-C built in so you have to remove the battery to charge it.

They aren’t illegal, it’s sold world-wide. These strobe lights are used as a LEGAL self defence tool world-wide. If this was illegal, it wouldn’t have been sold in the USA/UK/Australia where a company gets sued for violating a consumer right or put on something “potentially” illegal in a product which violates any consumer right. I agree, it’s not recommended to shine in someone’s eye, but it’s not illegal. It’s absolutely fine to shine the strobe in someones eye, if that someone is trying to harm you.
