Yea its so much fun having to being IQ every FUCKING game on qp and standard. Twitch and Brava are too easily countered by having ears. Also doesnt help every time I do try to bring a drone op my whole team ends up dead and im accused of baiting. Id rather be playing amaru, ram, buck, nokk (this one specifically is annoying to be hit by a fenrir when you are sneaking by cams), or grim. But being blinded by no skill op, that tells them EXACTLY where I am, while making noise, is annoying as fuck, and super overpowered. Its like when lesion could see his gus through walls, and they were still invisible, but you can place them anywhere, and they blind you.

@@keyshawncarpenter1166 I’ve personally never played Brava, so I can’t say whether you are overall wrong or not- but I do play Fenrir in standard. Since he can toggle them on and off, any active F-NATT will get taken over, and any inactive F-NATT will just be destroyed.

One thing ubi could do to balance defender gadgets being placed outdoors is to just treat them like an operator. A change I wanted to see for Fenrir was to make his blind work like Reyna's blind in Valorant. A reyna blind does the exact same thing as Fenrir, but you can clearly see where the blind/trap is. If Fenrir's mines were like this, where it's much easier to see where you're being blinded from, it would keep him as dangerous as he is, but make dealing with the traps a lot more tolerable. There's been times where I'm nowhere near an enemy so I'm safe to walk in, but a Fenrir mine in some small spot makes it impossible to proceed further without being semi-blinded and possibly on an enemy line-of-sight. Edit: Also removing the bailiff. Yeah there's already enough reason to play him.

I personally play the ops I mentioned and have very little issue with him. Personally I think fenrir's fine even if a bit unimaginative (for someone who canonically induces fear a nearsight is an incredibly boring effect conceptually). people are just stubborn and don't change.

Theres a reason hes the most banned operator in siege by far rn. Without a counter, youre basically guaranteed to die if they have a decent fenrir, and as for counters you have like IQ (Obsolete op, useless), Zero (Decent like 50% of the time maybe), Twitch (worse brava, F2 nerfed to the ground, no one uses her, no one going to use her for a mid counter), the only real counter to Fenrir is Brava, thats the problem, you have a super-good, broken ability, great gun, good operator, and the only real counter is an operator with a 10% pickrate.
