Good to see you on youtube! I usually wear 400 in the liquid but it was way too orange on me and I was not able to make it work. So I went with 390 and even though it looks lighter in the compact it is actually a warm yellow tone.

You are my shade twin in a lot of foundations, including Fenty. I had a virtual meeting with a fenty advisor last week and she told me to get 390 in the powder bc 400 is too orange and the 390 in the powder runs less orangey, but is deeper than the liquid. She asked for pictures in sunlight and indoor and determined my shade based on that.

The powders run 2 shades darker than the liquid. Everyone is getting 2 shades lighter to match. I’m 345, and I git 330. It’s a tad dark, but still works.

Good video! I got 390 and the shade is more golden and less orange. I normally wear 410 in the liquid foundation. Thanks for sharing!❤️

I know what you mean. I feel like if there was a shade between 385 and 390 for the liquid, maybe I would be that shade. 385 is too pale and 390 is too dark so Idk about the powder foundation. I'm about tired of getting shades that dont work and taking them back lol.

Nice Review! I use UD 70WY too and have been looking for a match. I also wonder if 385 would work for us.. to knock out some of the redness. Have you thought of trying 385?

Looks good to me I really didn't see any orange but you like you said you're looking up close looks perfect on you I bought it for me and my daughter she's in 370 and I'm in 4:30 and I was so scared cuz I ordered it online in my area still don't have the powder but they have the other Fenty beauty products but yes it work nice it just working with it. For using Mac Studio fix for 20 years it's hard to switch up a little bit but I still still still love my studio fix nw45.😉

I love you gurl! I love this review, told me just what needed to understand about this powder foundation. I use 400 as well and I like it way more to set my foundation than as a powder. And the next time I use it, I will definitely be swirling my brush as well. I want the coverage! LOL!

Have you considered doing Zoom consults? I'm a "tad" older than you, okay...a big tad, but I struggle finding the right foundations, concealers, colors, etc. that are age appropriate, whatever that is. I would eagerly join a Zoom and call a few of my girlfriends to join, 'cause we're all kinda lost! LOLOL

This is definatly a trial and error makeup. You have to buy more than one to get the shade you want. It just don't do it alone as a powder to makeup look.You made it work though.
