Yes! Fenty edp reminds me of some of our iconic perfumes from the 1980s. Not for the faint of heart. Beautiful! Rich. Spicy. Lots of complements.

This is the best fenty review I have come across I have been on the fence because most reviews are just hyped up because it is Rhianna. I love her but wanted a review just like this, someone from LVMH needs to hire you to promote fragrance!!

It’s very smart of them to make very limited drops so they can increase the price every time they drop it again!! Is it working? LOL!! Maybe it is! But I also remember some people telling me the smell has changed from drop number one to drop number two I’ve never smelled drop number one and I don’t think I’ll be smelling drop number three. So? It will be a mystery!!

It's December 2022 and I just bought mine from Sephora for $140. It was tagged as a Limited Edition item. I totally agree with your description of layers and it is very light. It's a week later, I went back to Sephora website to read reviews or maybe tips on longevity/projection, but it was gone like you couldn't buy it again. So, I went to Fenty website, and a guy who wears it suggested pairing with another warm/spicy EDP. I think I'll try my YSL, Libre wish me luck 🤞🏼🤷🏽‍♀️

As a makeup wearer and a follower of the beauty community, I appreciate that Fenty seems to put out thoughtful releases both relevant to trends and consistent to the Rihanna image/branding. Similarly, Kayali fragrances are extremely popular from the Huda beauty makeup brand, but that brand spews out releases! I'm sure many other beauty brands will follow suit.

I actually like this scent. I find that, for me, if I do 2 sprays like I do all of my other fragrances, this becomes a skin scent that only I can smell unless I'm cuddling with the significant other. However, if I "overspray" it has a wonderful projection and I gets so many compliments.

I appreciate your honest review on this fragrance. I was able to purchase it in August. I really like the fragrance then. But I feel it works better for me in cooler weather. The scent is amazing, butI think there are some points to note about this perfume. I'm so disappoint about the packaging.. It shouldn’t have changed because the new box make the brand less "luxury". Also, the release should also have been done under FENTY BEAUTY with a new logo and design, knowing that FENTY LVMH is suspended. I hope Rihanna will release a more elaborate set of fragrances, with audacity and sensuality just like her !

I appreciate you and love this fragrance at first I did not but I went back and let me tell you, every time I wear it I get compliments. Let me share a couple of layering combos: This with Tom Ford's Lost Cherry, This with Maison Francis's gentle Fluidity Gold, and this on its own with anything vanilla along with the Fenty Cream. I like this on its own and in a layering combo its unique and different to me and everyone is not wearing it. Great review.

It was really hard for me to explain the smell but it smelled really familiar. At first I got like spicy honey fragrance but I kept on smelling it and I came up with the conclusion that it smells like incense for me.

Well as far as the cheaper packaging and the $10 higher price from the prior release is really another indication the cost across the spectrum has increased. From ingredients to logistics. I see as they are presenting a cheaper package and that slight increase to offset this worldwide “inflation. “ Everything is about to cost.

The Fenty fragrance has grown on me. I bought it when it first launched. I loved the elaborate packaging. Let's just say it was not love at first sniff. I thought it smelled like generic Pinesol. Lol I don't necessarily like to wear it alone. I like to layer it with other fragrances/body butters and I get tons of compliments. Fenty perfume is not a must have for me and I will not be repurchasing.

Been wanting to try this. Looking at the blueberry, citrus, floral, & vanilla notes I thought it might be a little like Poets of Berlin, but I haven't seen any comparisons to that so I'm curious to try this one.

I have samples of Fenty and a bottleof Poets of Berlin, and they don't smell at all similar to me. To me, Poets of Berlin has a green, fresh bamboo and orris stage that smells really natural (not so perfume-y though there may be a hint of florals) and then becomes a beautiful vanilla, blueberry scent that is kept fresh by the green and floral notes (rather than literal gourmand). Fenty is mostly a musky fresh floral scent. Though the blueberry is detectable at some point it's never prominent. I have to search for it to smell it at all. Magnolia, geranium and musk are the stars while tangerine lends a tangy (nearing antiseptic) bright edge, and then rose. Definitely worth trying! It's interesting and well done, even though I don't like florals enough to own a full bottle.

Thanks for your review. It confirms my view that the fragrance is delightful, not beast mode but respectable at this price point. Raising the price by $10 is not a big deal to me, since I tend to favor niche fragrances that cost so much more. I tend to throw out most of the boxes anyway, except for the most elaborate (e.g. Royal Crown, Clive Christian and some Xerjoff) and if the box can be recycled, all the better. I applaud Rihanna Fenty who started out as a rap/pop star and is now a billionaire with her partnership with LV and her beauty products. She was the first to offer a wide range of foundation colors for the vast array of skin tones (e.g. 40 shades). Genius!

Iman offered a range but not 50 shades (correcting myself) from the lightest to a deep brown as Fenty did. Fashion Fair also offers a more limited range. I wore them all, but Fenty broke new ground with the extensive range that included many more skin tones.

Fenty and Fenty Beauty are two different brand owned by Rihanna. Fenty was her high end designer brand where she released clothing, accessories etc. so the makeup and skincare brand you referred to is more department tore type brand, relatively budget friendly amongst the offerings at Sephora but this fragrance is not part of it

Fenty by Fenty sounds so much like a Fendi would have wanted to launch Fendi by Fendi but found it too bad... or didn't have the money to try one more time to come back :D Unfortunately because of this I find the name off-putting, to be honest. But coconut is not my thing anyway, I like flowers but don't like too fruity fragrances, so even without smelling it, this is surely a miss for me. But curious what will come from this brand in the future (hopefully no Fan di Fenty, though), especially regarding more masculine leaning unisex fragrances.

Regarding cutting cost: There's a shortage of paper, among other materials, thus the prices are much higher and many producers fear they might ran out of paper and carton sooner or later. 10$? Well, the last book I've bought had a price increase of 33% while the paper was so thin, you did not even need to turn a page to read what was written there....

I haven't heard great reviews on this which actually makes me even more curios to smell it lol. I feel like this fragrance will not do well long term.
