I think the gel is for slick down styles or to be used by itself. Not with the home curl

Thank you for posting your review!!! I was doing a little research and I think that the styling products were designed to be used by themselves, hence the clumping and flakes. But your hair looks really moisturized 😩🙌🏾 can’t wait to see you use the gel for a slick style!

Of coursee🫶🏽 I agree they weren't designed to be used together but the curl cream alone wasn't going stand a chance in this 90 degree weather😭 I want to use it alone for a twist out next!

So glad you used the gel on other parts of your hair! I kept looking throught the website because I wanted to know if it could be used as a hair gel, but unfortunately it was only talking about using it for slicking hair down 😭 so I wanted to see someone use it. Having an edge control and slick back gel in one line kind of confused me.

Yea I think the gel is only to slick your hair😭 I’ll be using it again alone to see how well it does that

The deep conditioner was my favorite product. I did not like the holding gel because of all the flaking. I got PR and made a video reviewing everything too!😊

The Gelly Type Strong Hold Gel is not for wash and go’s. It’s A high-performance, all-day strong hold styling gel great for sleek ponys, slick-backs, updos + top knots..

And that is why I will be doing a sleek style next! I want to try multiple styles with these products like twist outs/braid outs, sleek pony’s/puffs etc. I’ve seen some people try both of these for a wash and go and get great results, I just wanted to see if it’ll work for me
