can you use Manuka oil as a preservatif? and I thought that iris sea moss had emulsifying properties!
@NowIAmNappy4 жыл бұрын
Manuka oil is not strong enough of a preservative to kill all bacteria long term. Irish Sea Moss does have some emulsifying properties however since I’m using more of the fenugreek I know I need the BTMS
@ketsia854 жыл бұрын
@@NowIAmNappy Thank you so much. I am thinking on making my own moisturiser with irish sea moss, fenugreek, mashmallow root, horse tail, burdork root and aloe vera gel with babassu oil manuka oil raspberries seed oil or carrot seed oil due to my vitiligo for sun protection and my scalp and hair are very dry. I don't measure so I don't know how to put enough emulsifier or preservatif. what do you think ?

Hi, great video. Is there a reason you use the BTMS 225 instead of the BTMS 50 that makes thicker deep conditioner for kinky of coily hair and makes it more manageable to for example detangle?
@NowIAmNappy4 жыл бұрын
No, I’m just using my leftover BTMS 225 before it expires. Additionally the Seamoss and fenugreek give this recipe a crazy amount of slip and moisture so there was no need to use my BTMS50 for this recipe. But if that’s what you have definitely use it, I will be using mine once I finish up my 225
