Fepasa 1820, Under the Snow. 2017

In 2017, there was an unusual snowfall, it reached Santiago de Chile (580 masl approx). In Río Blanco (1450 masl), the accumulated snow did not leave the residents indifferent.
The General Electric locomotive, ex-U12C, repowered at 1800 HP, was maneuvering in Saladillo (mining camp, Codelco's Andina division) with a charge of copper concentrate. Later, he would leave without wagons to Río Blanco, for a crew change.
