I recently finished watching all of the cardcaptors from start to finish and both movies. I wish they made more especially after watching the US versions, its annoying how much they edited out of the original cardcaptor sakura footage even key moments like when li tells sakura how he feels, In conclusion this was one greatest parts of my childhood and i know im not only who feels that :)

I can tell you the manga of Sailor moon is way better then the anime. I mean the anime follows the manga, but there are still quite a few filers in sailor moon anime that are not in the manga and there are details in the manga that the anime either changed or left out. I recommend reading the manga. As for Cardcaptor Sakura it follows the manga somewhat as well, but again i recommended reading the manga because there are differences.
