To any children who lied about their age because they want to play feral: Not only is it illegal, but you can get Wildworks sued. They're not allowed to collect data from anyone under 13. If you're under 13, please just wait until you're of age because you're harming other people by lying and being selfish. This isn't about maturity. This is about safety and consideration for other people. I played Animal Jam constantly when it came out, and played it all the time up until 2016. I don't play it much anymore because I'm uncomfortable talking to children. I'm excited for Feral because there's going to be other people around my age who grew up playing Animal Jam. I just want a platform to play on where children aren't taking it over. Transformice was originally a great, thriving 13+ game, but when children took it over, it basically killed it. Don't let Feral become like TFM. When I was younger, I'd lie about my age, and I was smart with it. However, I still got myself in trouble because there are a lot of terrible people online who prey on children. You WILL fall victim to it at some point if you lie about your age. Please just let the people who are old enough to play the game enjoy it. I can assure you that no person older than 13 will want to communicate with you or treat you with respect if you're under 13 and lying.

Would like to clear something up: They can get WildWorks sued only if WildWorks is *aware that they* [those under 13] *are on WildWorks' platform but not doing anything about it*. See this: (General requirements. It shall be unlawful for any operator of a Web site or online service directed to children, or any operator that has **actual knowledge** that it is collecting or maintaining personal information from a child, to collect personal information from a child in a manner that violates the regulations prescribed under this part.) www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-idx?SID=4939e77c77a1a1a08c1cbf905fc4b409&node=16%3A1.0.1.3.36&rgn=div5 Transformice was also never 13+ because it was a French game and therefore COPPA laws did not (and still do not) apply to Transformice because of its status as a foreign game. I actually don't want little kids either, but I also can't stop them. IMO telling them to not sign-up is pointless. No matter how many warnings we give them, they'll all try, just like we did. (Except for the rare honest type.) I will try to report all of them who admit to being under 13 though.

I honestly think it’s so amazing and special that Wildworks is recognizing us older players that had grown up playing Animal Jam and are making a game that is targeted towards an older audience. I started playing AJ back in 2012 when I was around 10 at the time and I spent my entire preteen and early teen years playing it, and it really was a vital part of my childhood. I stopped playing around two years ago due to just losing interest and growing out of it, but I still appreciate it and plan to play feral once it comes out (or if I get accepted into the closed beta :3) so excited to play it!

I can’t wait to see if I get into the closed beta! In genuine honesty I always get so frustrated with kids on AJ. So I hope being a part of an older audience will calm me down more. I’m excited because if I do get in Im hoping I will be proud, but not snobby proud. This is so cool because I used to be an animal jam pw addict and played it every day. I got over it a couple years ago but then your video on the beginnings of feral popped into my recommended and I was so excited! And my father used to test games so I get used to hearing tips from him. I know this isnt a really expert game (or so I know), but I wanna experience and explore it and help search for glitches and bugs.. maybe provide ideas in blank situations

It looks wonderful so far! Though I have a small concern, will Feral have as much pay-to-use content as AJ does? On one hand, it might not. Because from what I assume AJ is already a good source of income. On the other hand, Feral is aimed at teens who very likely have their own money and in some cases debit cards, therefore that exclusive content might be easier for them to get. I'm sure there's going to be some microtransactions and that's fair, they need money to keep the game alive. I just hope the exclusive stuff won't be things that you need to make the game actually worth playing, but things that you can still enjoy the game without. Like, if they make changing colors of items and putting enchantments on things pay to use I'll be real sad :( Has this been clarified in a podcast or something? I really want to know because besides that, Feral looks absolutely stunning with so much space for creativity! I can't wait to play it!

It's currently just after 11pm on Sunday. When I heard you say the first invites will be sent this Monday I got actual chills. So hyped man :OOO I hope I get invited.
