I would really like for feral to have 1 or 2 more combo points, i dont mind if we only spend a maximum of 5, but having to spend at 4 combo points or risk overcapping is really annoying

@Javier most of the guides recommend secondary stats priority mastery > crit > haste = vers. Could You elaborate why You think that stacking haste over mastery makes sense? By my understanding: - mastery 80% (+ BLS on any crafted item, which gives over 1k mastery), anything above suffers from diminishing return - crit 45-50% (in cat form), statistically in ST, crit every 2nd ability, in AOE even more often - haste - from my experience 20% is a must (in cat form), I'm hoping to balance it around 30% this season - vers - on +10 and above keys, it becames important for survivability because we are squuuuishyyyy

I dont advise stacking anything, although this may not be the answer you’re looking for - my advise is always that every person is different and you should simulate your character as its not one size fits all. The “general” priority (no matter who says it) should really be taken as a very high level guestimate. You seem knowledgeable re stats so ill assume you know how to sim - but if not do let me know and I can assist 😁

Asking for pro advise..my FB counts for almost 90% of overall damage..which is a problem bcause my dots are doing very low damage at 2nd and 3rd rank in damage done…i have over 80% mastey and playing BT talents..i really dont know what im doing wrong

That's more or less normal. Bite will always be #1 damage on single target due to things like convoke and the many talents that support extra bite damage, such as Taste for Blood or Saber Jaws. Bleeds are more of an accessory to the class right now that just help buff bites more and build combo points for bites. Typically your highest damage will be Ferocious Bite by an extremely large margin, then Rip, then either Rake or Feral Frenzy depending on your build and tier. If your bleed damage is low even considering all this, you're probably mismanaging pandemic windows and snapshotting things like Bloodtalons, Tiger's Fury, and Sudden Ambush.

Also this is only for single target. In AoE your bleeds are a lot more impactful because you get to effectively spend remaining duration on a dot as AoE damage with Primal Wrath and Tear Open Wounds

This is a beginner video whereby the target audience will be doing something completely different to the top 0.001% players. I also wouldn't advise stacking a specific stat unless you've been simming your character appropriately and that is what the sim has said to do

Feral tries to get up to 50% crit for Berserk cd, when our crit chance on our combo point builders is doubled. That way we are earning more CP and getting in more finishers during our cds. Once you hit around 40%ish you really start prioritizing mastery more. But you should really be looking for a balance between crit mastery, with more emphasis on mastery as your ilvl increases and you hit that cap on crit.
