I never take much notice of work, previous landlord or bank reference's. Take them but a person could have a great job and lose it the day he moves in a previous landlord will tell you a bad tenant is great as they want them to move and the bank will only confirm that the person has a account . Do a credit check this will tell you if this person pays there other bills on time over the last few years ,so you know their attitude it also tells you if they keep moving around so might do a flit . If you don't have the capacity to do a check ask the applicant to apply for there own file on line and show you it

This man who you idolise refuses to rent out to the following: Plumbers (because they overcharge for things?? his words not mine 😂) Domestic abuse victims Anyone of colour On top of that he revenge evicts his tenants when they ask for basic maintenance on the property they're living in maybe you need to look up to a more decent human being instead of someone who is literally a modern day Mr Potter from Its A Wonderful Life
