Check out Bundy Bears shed for secret tubes in the cylinder head that can rot through and coolant gets in the oil. Great videos so far by the way. My grandfather bought my dad a brand new grey and gold for his 21st birthday back in 1956 complete with a 2 furrow plough.

Thanks for your comments, the gold and grey is one of my favourite tractors - is it still in the family?

Nice work Kev. Some interesting machines in the background as well.

Thank you for watching, there will be videos on the other machines in the future, but I currently feature them on my instagram page if you wish to see more

I see people sand blast just before paint and I hate it, it has to get in somewhere I reckon. Good catch on the injector mine would have hit the floor, lol.

Great informative video. My child recently overturned my fe35 and after fixing the bodywork I have found that all the coolant is ending up in the sump. I have the fuel tank off the tractor but do you have any pointers on where to look first or checks I should do prior to disassembly? I was hoping the head gasket was gone but the coolant is being lost even with the engine off. Does this point towards a cracked block? Any help appreciated.

Hi very sorry for the very late reply I hope your child is ok. Ive never had one with a cracked block I would think it may the cylinder head is not pulled down tight or check out Bundy Bear's channel on the Ferguson FE35 Hidden Water Tubes. Sorry again kev.

Can anything be done with the pitting on the head? Does it matter? I'm not a mechanic but I have rebuilt a couple gas engines.

The cylinder head is gonna be skimmed to remove some of the pitting so it doesn’t matter too much, if it was really deep then it would make a difference, but as it stands it's not that bad
