I don't know if anyone noticed but why when the tractor was driven in this video was the propshaft the the rear wheels removed?, but fitted when the tractor was on static display.

If you're referring to the bar leaning against the back of it on display that's it's top link for the 3pt hitch.

Looking again you're right. I wonder why they don't power the back axle.

If there is indeed no drive to the rear axle then it is actually worse than useless

Well that is just the coolest thing I have ever seen. Seen a lot of conversions but never a Ferguson. It took a lot of smarts to engineer that one.No all she needs is a set of dual tires............

Please, add some commentary to these videos so we know just what we are looking at. Add some history, information about who made these conversions. This tractor is very interesting, but the WHY'S behind its existence should be addressed.

There wasn't when he was driving it around but there is in the shots where it's parked. At the 3:09 mark you can just make it out. The video might have been taken before the build was complete

I have a hard time believing that this tractor could pull a four bottom plow. Fergusons of this era were rated for two fourteen inch bottom plows. It doesn't look like the engine is anything special, or higher horsepower than standard. Interesting tractor build, but it is hard to imagine what it actually accomplish in the filed.
