Another method (n1,n2,・・・nk):distribution probability P(n1,n2,・・・,nk)=(N!/Πni!)Πgi(gi-1)・・・(gi-ni+1)Πexp(- α- βεi)^ni=(N!/Πni!)Πgi(gi-1)・・・(gi-ni+1) exp(- αN- βE) In equilibrium, P(・・・,ni+1,・・・)/P(・・・,ni,・・・)≒1 Therefore, P(・・・,ni+1,・・・)/P(・・・,ni,・・・)=(N+1)(gi-ni)exp(- α- βεi)/(ni+1)≒1 N+1≒N, ni+1≒ni → N(gi-ni)exp(- α- βεi)/ni≒1 ∴ ni/gi≒1/{(1/N)exp(α+βεi)+1}=1/{(Z/N)exp(βεi)+1}    Z=Σgi/{exp(βεi)+1}

i am confused that the e in the equation is the euler number or the exponential thing that we see in a scientific calculator...if its exponential then why e^2 is not 100???
@mathOgenius
@mathOgenius 3 жыл бұрын
2.718 , e is the euler number,also the exponential thing you see in calc is also euler number e. and e^2 is 7.38 something

@@mathOgenius but I know that e2 is used to replace 10^2 which should be equal to 100 but 2.718^2 is not 100...please explain I am really confused...by the way thanks for replying.
