​​@@saadchafik3615 don't think so.... he was good always... but he was like riqui puig in physique... got bullied in a league with older players... he was not given his debut in Barca B because of that problem so he asked for a loan to prove himself in the same league. Went there and learned to be physical and became their number 10. People who followed him know he was always talented and a bundle of energy on the wing with good dribbling skills. Tactically he could play that Messi/Bernardo silva role to add superiorities in midfield if he improve his vision nd passing. Let's see how the Felix deal goes and what happens with Ferran and Abde. All factors in his staying in the team. Hopefully he doesn't go on another loan. 😅

@@mariouche3176 I didn't blame him... I am just saying he was a late bloomer. The truth of the matter is players with less physical aspects tend to go through the slower track. There are exceptions like Messi but even Xavi and Iniesta took a long time to become first team players. Barcelona picks players based on their technical quality when other teams look also at physical aspects. It is up to the players to find a way to surpass their obvious shortcomings. Riqui failed because of that. Fermin recognized that and asked for a timely loan to better himself unlike Riqui who shot himself in his own foot with lesser game time and not recognizing his own problems. There is also the fact that younger players who are technical prefer mobility rather than physical strength until they reach their maximum height as they don't want to sacrifice their height for muscles early on. This means the staff can only increase their strength upto a certain amount. Gavi wanted the physical strength because of his play style and he proceeded accordingly unlike other technical players from the academy. Pedri after reaching the age of 20 recognizes the physical difference and now is jacking himself up to be competitive but still does not want to lose his mobility in the process.

Exactly! The moment the ball gets to him the game instantly speeds up because he's explosive. He's also good at pressing and it catches opponents off guard because while the opponent thinks the game is slow and he has a second to act, Fermin swoops in at a completely different tempo. I also love that he's hard to put down and even when down he'd do everything to get the ball out (kind of like Messi). He has great attitude. Not selfish and always looking to contribute. Displays good level of maturity. He's also *very* intelligent. Good passing, dribbling etc. As a player all he really needs is time and he'll be something incredible

Físicamente es un portento, tiene un gran desborde, fantásticos recursos técnicos con esos giros sobre sí mismo con balón, tiene un buen pase, buena visión, verticalidad, llegada desde segunda línea, y gol. He's more direct than all the other Barca midfielders. Sometime players like de jong, pedri, gavi don't take shoot even they have chances to shoot. If Xavi can integrate him in the team in a suitable position that'll also improve pedri and gavi's effectiveness.

Staying in Barcelona isn't a bad option but he needs to play on a higher level than the B team ,personally i'll prefer if he stays but I wouldn't want him to be a bench warmer ,if he won't get any opportunities then it's better he leaves on loan again to maybe league 2, I hear he impressed a lot during the pre season training though, so who knows....

He didn't miss him, that's why Xavi out of all the players in Barca B and all the juveniles decided to not only bring Fermin to the preseason but actually play him. Fermin still has much to prove first division is much different to 3rd division where he has been playing, but Xavi certainly didn't miss the player that's why he already promoted him to the first team.
