I just bought a garden hose adapter for making toy rockets. It has a PET thread and can then be connected directly to a regulator that is also designed for pressure. Simple and quick, thanks for the idea.

😬 maybe toy rockets are not really good concerning food safety. 🤔

sorry but you are taking off the liquid, not the trub.

The poppet vavle. How do you depress it? Did you take it out? Your plastic gas post leaks in your video. Did you remove the poppet valve?

I don´t see the necessity for this hack. You could just attach a standard ball lock disconnect with some hose and a valve at the end, or even your picnic tap for that matter.

What fridge are you using that fits the fermzilla so perfectly? I'm considering buying a Glycol unit to save space, but curious what model fridge you have there.

Why not just close the butterfly valve and simply detach and empty out the Collection Container ?
@yoreckable12 жыл бұрын
Because that will be under pressure as well, I guess?

My hand? Sorry, i am trying to understand the question.. « what about the center tap»
@arizuii3 жыл бұрын
@@LucasSteyn I think he means the center of the pressure valve. At minute 3:00 you show the center with the metal connector, but then when you disconnect at minute 5:10 you are using the plastic one (and it leaks a bit, which makes me think that you removed the internal valve on that one). How did you adapt the plastic in this case?? BTW, amazing videos probably the best ones on youtube to see a fermzilla in good use :)
