Shit, I'm so old I remember standing (as a 5th grader) at the old platforms at Godfrey Av, at track level, Blueliners and Greenliners whizzing by faster than the Silverliner II's, with only two pans up in an eight car train!

Yes after uses that sometimes when they’re cleaning their cars out I learned that from one of my friends dad that’s a conductor that was in that train for five years

A need for more cars to meet demand. The multilevel cars won't come in time.

Emu no but the silver liner 6 design is probably being discussed Bilevels are being built in MA. With ridership down post-virtual there isn’t much of a need but eventually we might see an uptick

Sadly, that Bi-level contract was cancelled
