If you didn’t know, Billie also has synesthesia. For her first album she did an exhibit where each song had a room that represented what she sees and feels for each song.

Two fun facts: 1.Bossa Nova is a traditional Brazilian genre influenced by jazz and samba, as a Brazilian myself it's nice hearing the sounds of my country on this album. 2.Billie has said in interviews that Aurora is one of her first musical inspirations, Billie has seen Aurora live as well, she's a big fan. Love you Fern

FINNEAS said in an interview that this song is a fantasy he and Billie made while touring, having to sneak in back entrances to hotels and venues to avoid prying eyes. So this was kind of a 'what if' they were really sneaking around to see people on the sly.

I love that you mentioned seeing patterns and colours in music. Similarly, when people speak or really communicate in any way to me, I can distinctly see a shape of some kind, like "their energy" and everything has a texture too. This album has such a variety of feels to it that I really really enjoy; some velvet-y feels, some spikes, I love this album.

Oooh amazing !! I feel this too , people definitely have colours not sure I see shapes with people but definitely colours . So unique how we all have these different forms of processing things 💕💕💕 also thank you 🎶

I love how dynamic “I didn’t change my number” is! The vibrating at the very end reminds me of the sound a phone makes when it vibrates on a table. And it gets louder and more insistent showing how she’s ignoring the calls! I wouldn’t be surprised if they recorded the sound and decided to use it. They use the world around them and everyday noises to add a familiar feeling to almost every song. They’re an absolutely incredible duo and thank you for your descriptive reaction!

Fantastic reaction, Fern! I knew you'd love it! Loved watching you enjoy each song, and your analysis is on point! Billie's said she doesn't like to end an album on an angry note so, with Male Fantasy, she becomes introspective and realizes, "I know I should but I could never hate you." Your reaction to Happier Than Ever was all of us lol Unbelievably good! When you were describing the vocals in the far distance pushing forward and the way you visually expressed this idea is EXACTLY the way Billie made the music video! You should definitely watch the Happier Than Ever video! There's also a short "making of" that shows scenes of Billie planning, directing and acting in it that's really good as well. I've cried many times during that song including as I watched you! Interestingly, watching someone else experience that intensity is emotional, too! It's the release of that tension, it just pours out! So, so good!! 💜

You don't just hear it. Your senses were made for music and vibes. And it's deeply insightful, and leads to me seeing the songs in a completely different view. You get it right off the bat compared to me having to listen many many times for me to get into it. Not to mention you having such deep insight into the production, and emotion, especially emotion behind the album. God bless. If you believe in that stuff. Love the videos. Keep at it.
