Ferrabee Tunnel

Great video! Funny that you wondered what it would be like to drive the old route on a dark snowy night, because my parents once did exactly that during Christmas 1960 (this was a few years before I was born). They were driving back to Kamloops from the Coast, and they followed a trucker friend of theirs who guided them through the snow and around that corner past Old Ferrabee.

I always assumed that the modern Ferrabee tunnel was created directly through the original north tunnel. The modern Hell’s Gate tunnel was a more-efficient re-alignment from the old tunnel.

That gravel road too walk beside the tunnel. Sorry is that the old wagon road?
