Nah - unless you're going to put a set of alloy-rimmed Borranis on it - (which would be way outside the budget of a kit-car build) - or maybe those imitation "Turrino" wheels - (still expensive) - then please don't bother. Those "bolt-on" chrome wires - presumably "Dayton"? - just look cheap and glitzy. And why did the owner put those cheapo black plastic door mirrors on it? The proper mirrors aren't expensive - they're from an Alfa and only cost around $50 the pair. (Anorak facts: The famous "Borrani" alloy-rimmed wire-wheels are based on the patented British "Rudge-Whitworth" splined hub-and-spinner design as adopted by dozens of manufacturers and seen on hundreds of thousands of MGs, Triumphs, Healeys, Jaguars etc etc. Carlos Borrani took out a licence to manufacture them in Italy and the "hand" symbol that appeared on the centre of Ferrari spinners until almost the end of manufacture - (A "Prancing Horse" replaced it about a year before Ferrari stopped offering wires on their road cars) - is not a Ferrari or even a Borrani symbol - it's the good old "Rudge" symbol that appeared on thousands of British-made Rudge bicycles and motor-bikes. Despite the Italianate name, the "Turrino" wire-wheels made today are also British - made in the Northamptonshire village of Kings Cliffe, a few miles up the road from me.)
