Love the channel guys! I have a 458 Spider and love it as well as a newly delivered 812SF. Both cars have awesome sound. I imagine the Speciale Aperta is even better. I laughed out loud when you talked about the turn indicator. I too have drove like a stooge with indicator on when trying for the three blink lane change. Like a senior driving in Florida. Keep up the good work!

Ferrari are generally awesome at making things in horrible plastics of all colours, then offering you the opportunity to upgrade the horrible plastic to something NASA or F1 use for the price of a family car. The jerkiness of coming down in the gears disappers when you leave the automatic mode. If you are in manual mode, you approach for example a red light and you don't shift down yourself, the car shifts down automatically (despite manual mode), but does not open the clutch. You hear the gears go down and see it displayed in the tachometer, but there is no headbanging of the passengers or howling of machine and gear box. At least in a regular ("non speciale aperta") 458 spider. The squeeking on the upshift when accelerating hard comes from a nano-sec interruption of the ignition in order not do overdo the power while changing gears. Even though it is a double clutch gear box, otherwise there might be too much power in the nano-second, when the next gear bangs in. But this only happens when you accelerate hard.

Magnificent thing that is, video does not do it justice, much lower, wider and meaner in reality , very special car in a very limited number in a special colour , ticks all the boxes and does not get any better. Lovely car indeed really pops - the colours work well nicer than the launch Dark Blue Nart Berlinetta Speciale Launch colour I had for a bit - my only tiny gripe about the 458/488 Spyders are the humps which when driving make the car feel a bit more Targa than Spyder but roof up look very integrated and smart - On the NART theme how about looking down the sofa to buy one of the ten 275 GTB N.A.R.T Spyders by Scaglietti commissioned by Luigi Chinetti or if that isn't special enough a 365 GTB/4 Spyder by Michelotti should be on you shopping list 😏

You didn't mention if you liked the comfort of the seats Jason, were you having to much fun....? Having seen the 250 GTO going for $48M now, are you going to re think that 288 GTO purchase, it can only go up. From recollection theres about 272 288 versus 39 280's produced, I could just see you in a 288 GTO Damian. Jason agreed with me, if I remember rightly. :-)
