Here's the most insane rev battle I have ever filmed, between two straight piped car : a Ferrari 458 Speciale fitted with R3 Wheels, and an Audi R8 V8 fitted with Messer wheels.
I was a bit deaf after recording that night.

The Ferrari looks cheap as hell. And that's not even the big Audi R8 V10 with a way more PS than the 458. Nothing against Italy, but all they have is Ferrari. Lamborghini belongs to Volkswagen now. Germany has better premium cars like the Mercedes McLaren, the Audi R8 10V, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, BMW M Series, Bugatti and so on and so on. I wished we had the Autobahn between L.A. and Las Vegas, but well the Germans can handle high-speed roads. PS: Bugatti was a French car manufacturer of high-performance automobiles, founded in 1909 in the then German city of Molsheim. Today the name is owned by German automobile manufacturing group Volkswagen.

definabsolutely the ferrari. The trouble with the r8 v10, at least the sound, is that it doesn't have the intensity at high rpm. On the other hand, a 911 GT3 exhaust sounds fantastic because the flat six can rev up to 9k and it sounds phenomenal at the upper end.
